❑  Fill out the OzTREKK SSVF Form online. This information is collected to meet compliance requirements. If we require further information, we may contact you.

Send University-specific Documents

OzTREKK only requires one copy of each document, even if you are applying to multiple programs.

All PDFs must be submitted via the myOzTREKK portal. Please do not send via email. We will confirm receipt of your documents as we receive them, so you can keep track.

 

Bond University – Doctor of Physiotherapy

❑   Résumé
❑   Prerequisite course outlines (Please check pre-approved Canadian courses. Course outlines are not required if preapproved.)

• 2 semesters anatomy
• 2 semesters physiology
• 1 semester biomechanics
• 1 semester statistics/research design
• 1 semester exercise physiology

Important to remember:

• Application deadline early August; apply as early as possible.
• Interviews held in September.

 

Flinders University – Master of Physiotherapy

• 2 semesters anatomy (including detailed musculoskeletal anatomy)
• 2 semesters human physiology (including exercise physiology)
• 1 semester psychology or sociology
• 1 semester research methods

Important to remember:

• Rolling admissions; apply as early as possible.
• Flinders requires true research methods (statistics does not meet this requirement).

 

La Trobe University – Master of Physiotherapy Practice

Important to remember:

• Application deadline late September; apply as early as possible.
• Must include résumé if completed degree more than 5 years ago.
• Musculoskeletal includes upper/lower limb, trunk, head/neck, and neuroanatomy.
• We will automatically choose Bundoora Campus (suburb of Melbourne); however, if you would prefer Bendigo (150 km northwest of Melbourne) please let us know.

 

Macquarie University – Doctor of Physiotherapy

• 2 semesters human physiology
• 1 semester research methods/statistics
• 1 semester psychology

Important to remember:

• Rolling admissions; apply as early as possible. Firm application deadline typically end of January.
• Macquarie requires students to have covered both systems (renal, cardio, resp, etc.) and musculoskeletal anatomy (bones, muscles).

 

Monash University – Doctor of Physiotherapy

• 1 semester human anatomy
• 1 semester human physiology
• 1 semester biostatistics

Important to remember:

• $100 AUD Monash application fee paid directly to the university (link will be provided). Please let us know if you do not wish to pay the application fee and we will cancel your app immediately!
• Your bachelor’s degree must include a minimum of 2 of the 3 prerequisite subject areas listed. Only 1 may be considered if it has been acquired through non-award or open study.

 

University of Melbourne – Doctor of Physiotherapy

• 1 semester human physiology

❑   Résumé (if your degree was completed more than 2 years from the DPT program start date)
❑   Read the Melbourne Admissions Guide

Important to remember:

• Application deadline typically beginning of July each year.
• To receive an application fee waiver, you must have submitted all documents to the OzTREKK office before the app deadline (usually before mid-June). Otherwise, you will be required to pay the $100 AUD Melbourne application fee.
• UniMelb requires students to have pre-approved course outlines (anatomy and physiology). To see if your courses have been approved, check both the DDS and the DPT lists (scroll to “Assessing prerequisite subjects”.
• If your courses are not listed, that means they have not been assessed; please complete the Assessment Form prior to June 10.
• All prerequisites must be completed at time of application.
• Interviews held mid-August.

 

University of Queensland – Master of Physiotherapy Studies

• 1 semester human physiology (systems physiology)

Important to remember:

• Rolling admissions. Fills quickly; apply as early as possible. Firm application deadline is typically end of August.

 

University of Sydney – Doctor of Physiotherapy

​No additional documents required. If you’ve completed steps 1 and 2, above, your application is ready to submit.
❑  $150 AUD Sydney application fee paid directly to the university (link will be provided). Please let us know if you do not wish to pay the application fee and we will cancel your application.

Important to remember:

• Rolling admissions; apply as early as possible. Firm application deadline is typically end of October.
• You must have pre-existing knowledge in two essential areas: human anatomy and human physiology.
